- Open windows to air out the house (if weather allows)
- Collect all rubbish from inside and outside the property
- Remove all used linens and towels — bag them for laundering
- Check for any damages or missing items — take photos and notify Joe immediately
- Restock essentials (toilet paper, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, tea/coffee, etc.)
- Strip beds and replace with fresh, clean linen
- Spray and wipe all furniture: bedside tables, console tables, dressers
- Dust all surfaces, including lamps and picture frames
- Wipe down mirrors and windows
- Vacuum carpets or mop floors
- Empty bins and replace with fresh liners
- Check under beds and inside drawers for any guest belongings
- Place 2 clean towel sets per guest neatly on the bed
- Roller blinds — check the remote in the bedside bracket works and blinds open/close smoothly
- Spray and disinfect toilets thoroughly (base, lid, behind)
- Clean sink, benchtop, and tapware
- Scrub shower or bathtub, glass screen, and tiles
- Polish mirrors and any chrome surfaces
- Replace used towels with clean ones: bath towel, hand towel, and face washer
- Restock toilet rolls (at least 2 spare), liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body washStannardStays
Supplies in linen cupboard in hallway - Mop the floor
- Empty the bin and replace the liner
- Wash and put away all dishes, or load and run the dishwasher
- Spray and wipe all benchtops and the dining table thoroughly
- Clean inside the microwave, oven, and fridge (especially if used)
- Throw away any leftover food and check expiry dates
- Wipe down all small appliances: toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine
- Clean and polish sink and tapware
- Mop the floor
- Empty bin and replace with a fresh liner

Stock is in the storage cupboard — Joe & Angela restock this in bulk, just place into the fridge
- Spray and wipe coffee tables, console tables, TV stand, and other furniture
- Dust all furniture, shelves, and electronics
- Wipe and disinfect high-touch areas: remote controls, light switches, door handles
- Vacuum or mop floors
- Fluff and arrange pillows and throws neatly
- Check under cushions and furniture for forgotten items
- Check board games inside the TV unit centre door are complete and tidy
- Spray and wipe all outdoor tables and chairs
- Sweep decks, patios, and balconies
- Remove rubbish, leaves, or debris
- Clean BBQ grill if it was used
- Arrange outdoor furniture and cushions neatly
- Make sure outdoor lights are working properly
- Wipe the outside of washer and dryer
- Clean out the lint filter in the dryer — located inside the door at the front of the drum
- Sweep and mop the floor
- Fold any clean laundry if left
- Replace laundry pods if running lowStannardStays
Pods are in the cupboard next to the dryer — these go directly in the drum with the clothes, not the drawer
- Turn off all lights (leave porch/entry light on if late check-in expected)
- Set air conditioning or heating to a comfortable setting
- Ensure all windows and doors are locked
- Put keys and the garage remote in the lockbox as instructed
- Do a final full-house walk-through to ensure everything looks perfect
